Markwell Farm Holiday Cottages are four self-catering cottages near Landrake and Saltash in South East Cornwall. The cottages sleep 2 to 6 guests and sit within a peaceful 400 acre working farm. Ideal for families, couples or friends sharing, the cottages are tastefully converted from two 18th century stone barns. All have south facing views of stunning countryside and walks across the farm are direct from your door.
Plymouth and Saltash are only a short drive away and the farm is ideally situated for exploring South East Cornwall and the South Devon area. Head off along the nearby South West Coast Path or into Bodmin and Dartmoor National Parks. Beautiful beaches around Whitsand Bay, Looe, Polperro and Seaton are just on our doorstep.
All four cottages are furnished in pine and include lounge areas containing colour TVs with Freeview channels and DVD players. Well equipped fitted kitchens have full sized electric cookers, fridge/ freezers and microwaves. A washing machine is available onsite for guest use and is located close to the cottages.
Night storage heating (from Nov to May), electricity, WiFi and bed linen are all included in booking price. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.
Arrival is preferred from 4 to 7 pm. Other arrival times are by prior arrangement only. Changeover day for weekly bookings is usually a Saturday. Discounts for bookings of 2 weeks or more are available.
Short breaks available during low season (November to Easter) subject to availability.
Off the M5, continue along the A38 (South) to Plymouth. Cross the Tamar Bridge on the A38, bypassing Saltash. After about 2 miles you'll arrive at Landrake.
At Landrake take a left into the village, and then the third left onto Church Street, immediately past the Buller's Arms signed St Erney. Markwell Farm is about half a mile after the village of St Erney.
