Welcome to these charming log cabins at Lands End, made from thick Finnish logs and situated in a secluded location surrounded by trees and close to a lake.
Perfect for a relaxing, eco- friendly holiday, a state-of-the-art biomass central heating system has recently been installed in the cabins, cutting their carbon footprint!
The living areas of Lands End log cabins are incredibly cosy, and offer excellent facilities including flat screen televisions, sofas and pine furniture.
The kitchens are very well- equipped with everything guests may need to rustle up delicious meals during their stay, including an electric cooker, hob, microwave, fridge and kettle.
Long Ships and Wolf Rock sleep up to 5 people in 2 en- suite bedrooms, and also have a bed settee in the living room for an additional fifth person, if needed.
Seven Stones and Tater Du sleep up to 3 people, offering a double bedroom and a bed settee for a third guest. The bathroom has a shower.
Lands End log cabins are surrounded by 25 acres of gardens, wildlife and natural woodland, with two lakes, seating and mown grass - ideal for exploring and picnics.
Ample onsite parking is available for guests. We welcome well behaved dogs, however there is a maximum of 2 per cabin.
Laundry facilities are available onsite, which can be used for a small charge. Towels can also be hired.

The surrounding area of Ullswater offers stunning scenery, historic attractions and fun things to do.
Enjoy a drink at Brackenrigg Inn, take a cruise on the Lake Ullswater on the steamers, and visit the nearby Lowther Castle and Dalemain Historic House and Gardens.
For the more adventurous, guests can try their hand at paintballing, go-karting, horse riding, archery and clay pigeon shooting at Rookin House Activity Centre.
Land Ends is easily reached from the M6 (6miles/10-12 minutes.)
Come off the motorway M6 at J.40. Take the A66 towards Keswick. Stay on the A66 dual carriageway for 4 miles. Turn left at the first sign for Hutton. Now keep straight on for 2 miles exactly and the Land Ends entrance is on the right. There is a wide entrance and long fenced drive up to the house and cabins.
Alternative route via A592 (Lake Road)
Go up the hill next to the Brackenrigg Inn. Turn right at the sign for Greystoke/Penruddock, which is opposite Bennethead Farm. (Do not go on the single track road). Land Ends is 0.5/0.75 mile on the left.
