Recently refurbished to a high standard throughout, this attractive property also makes an excellent base for walkers and sits in a recognised conservation area two miles from Axminster.
The substantial open plan living area has two sets of patio doors leading out into the garden, three sofas, large TV with basic Sky package and a family dining area seating eight. The luxury kitchen is well appointed with a range-style electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. The property is heated via oil central heating.
The extensive lawn gardens at Romany stretch for almost two acres and include a raised 28ft by 16 ft swimming pool - available from Easter to September inclusive. Changing facilities can be found in the summer house and there is also an eight seater hot tub which is available throughout the year.
Children should be supervised at all times in the garden due to the pool, open pond and slow running stream.
The rental charge includes bed linen, towels, utilities and an initial supply of fuel for the log burner. There is space for a travel cot if you wish to bring one.
Short breaks of three or four nights may be available during off peak times and when booked within two weeks of arrival. The preferred changeover day for weekly stays is Friday. Please note that we do not accept pets.
Romany is situated two miles from the market town of Axminster and within easy reach of the amenities of Kilmington which was the winnder of the Best Kept Village award in 2014. Two pubs can be found closeby and the surrounding area is ideal for walkers. Take the gently climb up to the top of Shute Beacon to enjoy beautiful views over the Axe Valley.
