Situated as part of a traditional working croft where Hebridean Sheep graze nearby, Am Bathach is an extensively furnished former barn offering quality accommodation for couples or small families. Furnished using local tweeds and traditional furnishings, the cottage is close to excellent salmon and trout fishing plus scenic lochs and woodland walks.
The comfortable living area has two large sofas and double doors leading out into the grounds. There is also a digital satellite TV with Freeview service and a digital radio. The modern kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and microwave. A further double drawer fridge and chest freezer can be accessed on request.
The property has a decked outdoor seating area with furniture and a charcoal barbecue. There is also a parking for three cars.
Babies are welcome and we can provide a cot and high chair on request. Use of two adults bikes is available. A large natural pond can be found closeby so any children should be supervised.
The Highland Shooting Centre is onsite and some activities may be audible from the property. Plenty of woodland walks, mountain biking trails, salmon and trout fishing, guided walks, archery, clay pigeon shooting and stalking can be enjoyed in the surrounding area.
Short breaks of two nights or more may be available. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement at an extra charge. Please keep them on the lead as there are hens and sheep in the surrounding area.
