The living areas of each of the cottages are comfortably furnished, with large smart televisions, DVD players, stereos and comfy sofas and the fastest broadband available – Gigabit WiFi. Oxford Country Cottages have a Green Tourism award for heating & hot water provided by biomass and electricity from Solar PV.
All of the kitchens are well equipped with appliances including dishwashers, microwaves, fridge/freezers, ovens, hobs, bone handled cutlery, crockery and Nespresso machines.

There is a communal courtyard garden, with excellent facilities including a Jacuzzi Hot Tub, Wendy House, selection of children's toys, a BBQ area and table tennis in the summer months. Lower Farm borders the RSPB Otmoor, a wetlands reserve home to 120,000 starlings who perform mesmerising murmurations in Winter months.
Ample private parking is available. Well behaved pets are welcome to join their owners, with prior consent and a £50 supplement. Free Ultrafast WiFi access is available. For children, cots and high chairs are provided. Guests have use of a laundry room and Farm Shop onsite, selling fresh eggs and farmhouse bread from Lower Farm, local produce and essentials.

The historic city of Oxford is a very popular place to visit, with iconic attractions such as leading Oxford University, which has over 30 colleges spread out over the city. Ideal for a daytrip, some of the other places of interest that guests may like to visit include Bodleian Library, Oxford Canal, Oxford Castle, the New Theatre and, of course, Blenheim Palace!
The cottages are conveniently located only 5 miles from the city centre and border RSPB Otmoor.
Superb pubs nearby offer great pub grub to Michelin Star – The Nut Tree in Murcott, The Abingdon Arms in Beckley, The Bell in Hampton Poyle, The Talkhouse in Stanton St. John.
Directions to Oxford Country Cottages – situated just five miles North East of Oxford City centre on Lower Farm, at the very end of the no-through road village of Noke. On reaching Noke, go straight through to the end of the village for exactly one mile from the main road (keeping the Church on your left). You’ll know you’ve reached us when the road turns into a gravel drive and see the sign for Lower Farm & Oxford County Cottages with the car park just beyond.
