Union Place on Whitby's West Cliff is a charming Grade II Listed Georgian Adam Town House offering elegant and luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation at an affordable price. We are located along Upgang Lane near Pannet Park, just a 5 minute stroll from the cliff tops, harbour and town centre. The property is brimming with character features including our spectacular 'bottle window' running down the north façade of the building - a local landmark along Whitby's Open Top Bus Tour.
Hosts Richard and Jane Pottas warmly welcome guests to Whitby. The Bed and Breakfast has two uniquely styled bedrooms, a relaxing guest lounge and a sunny south facing garden. Richard is a professional artist and his work is on show in parts of the guest house and can be viewed in his Whitby studio by appointment.
There are two spacious luxury bedrooms to choose from situated on the first floor landing. Both share a stunning large bathroom on the same landing which contains a large walk-in shower and a roll-top bath.
Breakfast is served in our charming basement dining room overlooking the garden. We endeavour to use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and special diets including vegetarians and vegans are happily catered for.
One night stays are available for £75-£80 per room per night.
Whitby is a popular destination with holidaymakers all year round, and Union Place is ideally located close to the town centre, harbour and many of the main attractions.
