The farmhouse is tucked into the hillside above the village of Pencelli and there are footpaths leading directly up onto the Brecon Beacons so no need for a car if you want to go for a mountain walk. Just a few minutes walk down the lane is the wonderful very early Christian Church at Llanfeugan with a renowned set of bells and some very ancient Yew Trees.

The last quarter of a mile of the lane up to the cottages and farmhouse can be quite bumpy but perfectly driveable for a usual family car. There is a Covenant on the farmhouse saying No Parking immediately outside, as the farmer always needs access for tractors passing through and moving sheep.
Visitors to the farmhouse have allocated parking spaces, and do not have access by car through the main gates - parking is only 20 meters from the farmhouse.
