Named after the Kiwi fruit climbing up the side of the wall of the property, Kiwi Cottage is a delightful 19th century retreat built to sit opposite the 'new' canal. The amenities of Talybont on Usk along with waterfall and reservoir walks can be found closeby and guests can also enjoy walks straight up on the Brecon Beacons.
The sitting room has a large stone fireplace, a wood burner stove, plenty of seating, Freesat TV, a DVD player, iPod dock, CD player and radio. The dining room has the original stone flag floors and beamed ceiling, and modern self catering facilities in the kitchen include a dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and separate freezer.
Roadside parking can be found close to the cottage and there is a garden shed for storing mountain bikes.
The rental charge includes bed linen, towels, electricity, oil central heating and Wi-Fi service.
Short breaks may be available at certain times of the year. Two pets are accepted at an extra charge of £20 each per stay.
