The Haven holiday cottage is located on High Park Farm, Kirkbymoorside, on the edge of the North York Moors. Surrounding you are 360° views of the Vale of Pickering, Howardian Hills and the moors. Whether you've come to take it easy and put your feet up or strap on your boots and explore the area, you'll be well taken care of. There's no need to jump in the car either as three footpaths pass by the cottage. The owners are more than happy to share their favourite places on the estate to have a picnic or pre-dinner drink.
The cottage has been recently converted in a sympathetic and loving style while the furnishings reflect owners' Philip and Jane's passion for travelling and the eclectic. Inside you'll find a 30ft long open plan living area with underfloor heating, high ceilings and a five foot designer wood burner. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker and all the mod cons along with views onto the moors.
Climb up the designer staircase with it’s uniquely designed hand rail and you will find three ensuite bedrooms. The two at the front overlook a pretty courtyard and have views South to the vale of Pickering. They are equipped with large double beds, designer shower rooms and beautiful original high ceilings. There are fluffy towels and bathrobes in each. The third bedroom has dormer windows overlooking the moors. It houses two large single beds and a bathroom.
There is a private patio with seating and lovely views to the moors, now that is truly a haven! For those with a more active disposition, we have three footpaths leading directly from the house.
Complimentary tea and cake is available on arrival, and two maid services a week are inclusive. We also provide one large load of wood for the designer contemporary woodburner.
The Haven has a unique Sonos sound system installed in the ceiling - perfect for music lovers, just download the app prior to arrival and you'll have music playing from the ceiling during your stay!
The lighting also has four settings so you can create your own perfect mood lighting in the spacious reception room.
Bed and breakfast rates available on request.
Dinner and Supper menus may be ordered 48 hours in advance, subject to availability.
Four courses are £35 per person and a 2 course supper is £25 per person.
