The hot tub has magnificent panoramic views of Upper Swaledale.

Changeover days for weekly bookings are usually a Friday and Monday. Short breaks are available.

Our North Eastern corner of the Yorkshire Dales offers a wealth of activities and attractions. Tour Swaledale and neighbouring Wensleydale, treading in the footsteps of famous vet James Herriot. Swaledale and the wider Yorkshire Dales area are a mecca for walking and cycling - we're ideally close to the Yorkshire Tour de France cycling route and just a stone's throw from the Coast to Coast Trail and Pennine Way. Favourite walks in the area include the circular Kisdon Hill walk, a Ramblers' top 50 walk. The 'Cote de Buttertubs' - famous landmark of the Yorkshire Tour de France is also just down the road from us.
Stay with us during the popular May Swaledale Festivals - two weeks of great music, arts and walking events (early booking recommended for this favourite Yorkshire Dales event). The bustling market town of Hawes, home to the Dales Countryside Museum and Wensleydale Creamery, is only 6 miles away.
There is a pub in Keld just 1 mile away and a hotel/restaurant in Thwaite also 1 mile away. The pretty village of Muker is a mere 2 miles away, famed for its wildflower meadows, character shops, tea room and craft gallery. The Farmers Arms in Muker were finalists in Yorkshire's Favourite Pub and have featured on The Dales Programme on ITV.
Swaledale is a top spot for birdwatching holidays. Swallows and snipe nest in our area annually and even rare Mistle Thrushes have been spotted in the area!
