About this Holiday Cottage

Winnie's Cottage is the situated in a traditional English village, and is surrounded by quaint countryside and tranquility. Offering comfortable accommodation, this property is the ideal base for a romantic retreat away, or a small family holiday.


The interior of this charming cottage is the ultimate home away from home, and combines a mix of period features and modern furnishings, from the log burning stove in the lounge and exposed wooden beams, to the flatscreen TV and modern facilities.

The kitchen is fully- equipped with all the modern appliances you may need during your stay, including a dishwasher, fridge with an ice box, oven, hotplates, grill, toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge. An iron and ironing board are also available, should guests require them.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

There are 2 comfortable bedrooms at this charming cottage: one with a single bed, and one with a super king size double bed. Please note that the top floor bedroom is accessed by stairs located in the bathroom.

The spacious bathroom has a bath with a shower over the top.


Winnie's Cottage boasts a tiered back garden, with a patio area and lawn, and is fully enclosed. It's ideal for dining outside in the summer months, or for a child to kick a football about in.


The changeover day is Friday.

Strictly no smoking. WiFi access available. We can accommodate one well behaved pet. For guests' convenience, we offer off- road parking.

Around and About

Just a short drive away from the front door of the cottage is the quaint village of Abbotsbury, where you can browse the local craft shops and tea rooms.

The historic village of Portesham is was made famous in Thomas Hardy's Wessex novels, and is just a mile from Chesil Beach.
