About this Holiday Cottage

Pack your bags and escape to this beautiful barn conversion in a secluded area of Weymouth. Set on 70 acres of grass meadows and wild flowers, this property is the ultimate getaway to the rural Weymouth countryside, with excellent facilities and a shared patio and barbecue.


The interior of Orchard View Cottage boasts original period features such as beamed ceilings and white washed stone walls. The furnishings and great facilities in the open- plan living and dining area will make you feel right at home. There is oil fired central heating throughout.

The kitchen is fully- equipped with all the modern appliances you may need during your stay, including a fridge with an ice box freezer compartment, oven, hob, grill, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

There are 2 bedrooms at this cottage, one of which has a kingsize double bed, and the other built in bunk beds. The modern bathroom has a bath with a spray attachment. 

For ultimate comfort, feather quilts and pillows are provided for guests.


The 70 acres of land at Ivy Farm has designated areas of 'Outstanding Scientific and Natural Beauty.' The property itself has a shared garden and patio, with a barbecue.

There is private parking for one car available.


The changeover day is a Friday.

Around and About

Just a 10 minute stroll from the cottage is the Fleet Lagoon, one of the few remaining natural lagoons left in the world. The Fleet is a protected area, and is an important area for the conservation of wildlife.

Further afield, in the seaside town of Weymouth offers a number of family- friendly events and attractions, such as the sandy beaches and pretty harbour, as well as various watersport activities including paddleboarding, jet ski tours, boat tours and rib charters.
