Little Aldon is the 17th century Dower House of the Aldon Estate, home to the young Earl and Countess of Kilmorey until the 1970s. This charming historic house has an array of reception rooms allowing your party to spread out. The large drawing room has space for everyone and is the place to settle into an evening of family games or charades. The large formal dining room will provide you with the venue for a special meal. The house also has a snug room and the addition of a great young children’s play room. The added extra comes in the form of a games room with full size snooker table. A room for all generations.
The property is very comfortably served by six large bedrooms one of which situated in a self-contained annex. Outside however is where the adventure really starts with a huge garden where children and dogs can run wild. The garden sits away from any roads in an oasis of countryside. At the end of the garden you will find a summer house with sun loungers and children’s toys. The real treat however is the covered outdoor swimming pool which is heated (but only available May- October) this is lockable for safety but will give your children hours of entertainment.
