The cottage is named in memory of Elizabeth I, who visited Sudeley on several occasions. Princess Elizabeth is a gorgeous Cotswold cottage, situated in the loveliest surroundings on the estate of Sudeley Castle, and on the edge of Winchcombe one of the Cotswolds most beautiful and oldest towns.
The cottage itself offers cosy open plan living downstairs with French doors leading onto a shared garden perfect to sit in on a summer’s night after exploring everything the area has to offer. Upstairs you will find two homely bedrooms and a family bathroom, throughout the property you will find lots of original features such as exposed walls and beams that date back to when the building was used as the paper mill.
All guests staying at the cottage enjoy complimentary entrance to Sudeley Castle & Gardens (during the season) and Princess Elizabeth cottage can be booked with other cottages in the courtyard ideal for larger groups or larger family gatherings.
