Around and About

Fasbourn Hall is in a great location near to the A14 and the Stowmarket railway station, ideal for fun day trips to the historic villages of Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and the Suffolk coast.

Closer to home, just 10 minutes away from the front door of Fasbourn, guests can join beautiful country walks and cycle routes, as well as traditional English villages, offering pubs, horseriding, fishing lakes, golf, hot air ballooning, gliding and museums.

Take A14 Junction 47A (Wetherden/Haughley Park/Haughley New Street).   Take the first right signposted 'Buxhall.'  Continue for 1 mile to a T-junction and turn left signposted Buxhall and Stowmarket.   Stay on this road for 1.7 miles until you reach a right turn signposted Buxhall and Gt Finborough (also signed for the Buxhall Crown and Coach House Restaurant).   Take this turning, continuing for 1 mile passing through a 30mph limit in Buxhall village, before taking the second right signposted Brettenham and Rattlesden Airfield.   Almost immediately, turn left opposite Buxhall Church onto Valley Lane (no through road leading to Worlds End Lane).   Continue slowly down Valley Lane for just under 1 mile, until you reach a long white metal fence, after which you'll find the driveway signed for Fasbourn Hall.
