This one- of- a- kind venue has recently been given a brand new £5million refurbishment, and now provides luxury accommodation and a fantastic place to hold weddings, business conferences and parties.
The abbey is set in 50 Acres, with beautiful gardens, orchard, willow lake and a 109ft bell tower. Previously a convent home to Benedictine nuns for over 170 years, many of the original features are retained, and the place is packed with character.
There are 57 bedrooms within the abbey, and each of them are individually designed, with traditional furnishings, and many of the original features retained.
The Callow Great Hall can comfortably seat over 100 guests, and provides a beautiful setting for your ceremony, as it is a former chapel and still retains the original features- from the vaulted ceiling to the stained glass windows.
There is a separate ‘Bride’s Manor’ in the grounds of the abbey, which is a Georgian manor house with 5 luxury bedroom suites- ideal for the bride and her bridesmaids to stay on the night before the big day, and get dressed in before the wedding.
There are a number of wedding options, starting at £85 per person, and includes a three course wedding banquet and house Prosecco. Other packages include a personal wedding co-ordinator, guaranteeing your special day is perfect, and runs as smoothly as possible.
Hold your business conference at Stanbrook Abbey- a range of packages are available, starting at £50 per delegate. This includes a dedicated event manager, unlimited tea and coffee, and free WiFi and car parking. Minimum number of 10 delegates. 24 hour delegate packages are also available.
