This lovely thatched bungalow is set in the traditional English village of Dunster, a short walk from the high street.
Peace and quiet is guaranteed in this relaxing environment, perfect for a short break away from the stresses of city life.
Priory Thatched Cottage offers a fully fitted kitchen, with a microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, various kitchen utensils such as cutlery, crockery and glasses.
The spacious sitting room includes a TV, DVD and CD player, and an iron and ironing board is available for use in the cottage. Free WiFi is available throughout.
We have one bedroom, with twin beds. The bathroom, which is just off the living area, includes a bath, shower, sink and toilet.
Priory Thatch Cottage has a spacious garden, as well as parking available for one car in its private enclosed courtyard. Free on-street parking is also available.
In the kitchen, a small amount of non-perishable items such as tea, coffee, salt and pepper are available for guests to use, as well as various cleaning materials and a few toilet rolls.
All towels, bed linen and duvets are included for guests to use, although if you wish top take day trips to the local beach, please bring your own beach towels.
The cottage is strictly non-smoking, and dogs are not welcome.
Short breaks of three or four nights may be available. Week breaks (Saturday to Saturday) during peak periods are also available, for further details please see our availability page.
Please note that on the last day of your stay, guests are required to depart by 10am. On the day of arrival, the cottage will be ready by 4pm.
The quaint village of Dunster is home to several restaurants, tea rooms and pubs, as well as a variety of independent shops. The nearest town is Minehead, situated approximately 1.5 miles away. Minehead has many of the larger supermarkets such as Tesco and Morrison's, and major high street banks.
For local history lovers, the 1000- year-old Dunster Castle is a stones throw away, as well as Britain's longest 'heritage' railway, The West Somerset Railway.
