The interior of Keepers Cottage is has recently been refurbished, and provides homely accommodation for six people. There is a hallway, sitting room, dining room, utility and cloakroom.
In the adjoining barn there is a cinema room for 6 people with a popcorn machine and fridge- ideal for cosy evenings in after exploring the surrounding countryside. Guests also have use of a sauna and ping pong table- there really is something for everyone!
The kitchen is fully- equipped with an electric range cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/ dryer, and in the living room there is a an open fire, Sky enabled TV, DVD player and Xbox games console.
A variety of bicycles are provided, although guests are advised to bring their own helmets.
There are two luxuriously decorated bedrooms at the cottage- both with double beds that can be converted into twin rooms should it be needed. There is a third twin bedroom in the adjoining barn, with a shower room.
The main bathroom in the property has both a roll top bath and separate shower.
The cottage boasts an enclosed garden, with a courtyard and outdoor furniture and barbecue - ideal for dining out on summer evenings.
A number of bicycles are provided for exploring the surrounding area, however guests as asked to please bring their own helmets.
Strictly no smoking. One well behaved dog welcome. A travel cot, stairgate and highchair are available.
The Michelin Star pub 'The Stagg Inn' is close by, where you can enjoy delicious home cooked food and a cold beer, while just 4 miles away are a number of convenience shops and a cafe. The historical Offas Dyke runs through the estate, which in the dark ages marked the border between England and Wales.
