Apple Tree Cottage is a bungalow with a spacious open- plan kitchen/ dining and sitting room with modern furnishings, such as an electric flame effect fire, freesat enabled flatscreen TV, DVD player, PVR digital recorder, radio, CD player and ipod dock. The living area has French doors leading out to the patio.
The kitchen is also fully- equipped with appliances such as an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and a washer/ dryer.
There are 2 double bedrooms at Apple Tree Cottage, one with a 5' bed and en- suite shower room and the other with a 5' zip and link bed which can be converted to 3 single beds should it be needed.
There is a dressing room and main family bathroom, and both of the bedrooms have doors leading to the Victorian walled garden.
The beautiful Victorian walled garden is at the front of the cottage, and there is an additional private back garden with views over open pastures. Dine al fresco on the garden furniture and make use of the small charcoal barbecue.
Private parking for 2 cars. Strictly no smoking, and no pets allowed. Guests should be aware that the cottage is accessed by a 20 metre shingle path from the car park, which may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.
Just a stroll away from Apple Tree Cottage, guests can find the local village, which offers a Post Office, pub, cafe and an award- winning restaurant, the Norfolk Riddle.
The sandy beach and pier at Wells are a 10 minute drive away, as are the Georgian towns of Holt and Burnham Market which are great for shopping trips. There are also many surrounding National Trust historic houses, such as Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall, and beautiful gardens at Pensthorpe Waterfowl Park and Walsingham Abbey Grounds.
