The interior of Higher Pempwell Barn is furnished to a modern standard, while keeping many of it's period features. On the first floor you can find an open plan sitting/dining/ kitchen area with a glass balcony, gas central heating throughout and underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully- equipped with everything you may need during your stay, including an electric fan oven, gas hob with wok burner, stainless steel extractor hood, microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The connected lounge has all the entertainment systems for cosy evenings in, such as a 30" digital Freeview & Sky TV with video and DVD player, ipod player, CD player and radio. There is also a gas effect wood burning stove, for ultimate warmth.
There are two luxurious bedrooms at Higher Pempwell Barn- a master bedroom with a 5' bed and en suite shower room, and a twin bedroom with 2 3' zip and link beds.
The main family bathroom has an electric shower over the bath.
There is a small garden at Higher Pempwell Barn, with a barbecue and garden furniture. One of the stand out features of the barn is the separate games room, which is situated across a small quiet road. In here you can find a pool table, a table tennis table, video player with a selection of videos, and various children's toys and games.
Strictly non- smoking. No pets allowed. Free WiFi in the living area for recreational use only, and the speed and service will depend on the package obtained by the owner of the property. A stairgate, travel cot and highchair are available. On- site parking.
Two miles away, you can find the local pub and post office, which stocks a range of local produce. Other attractions you may wish to visit during your stay are the two championship golf courses, The Eden Project (the worlds largest indoor rainforest) and the landscape of Dartmoor and Bodmin.
