A large holiday cottage for groups of up to ten guests, Redgate Farm is a picture-perfect thatched cottage in a wonderfully peaceful setting. It is a Grade II listed property in the Devon village of Shute, and was originally part of the Shute Estate surrounding National Trust property Shute Barton.
Redgate Farm features a lovely living room with woodburning stove and a separate TV room with a TV, DVD player and gas fire. The kitchen includes a range cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer amongst other essentials, and leads out to a conservatory and breakfast room. The property has a boot room and has a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are two single bedrooms within the Redgate Farm property, as well as two zip-and-link bedrooms that can be configured as twin rooms or super-king accommodation. One of these zip-and-link bedrooms is situated within an annexe, leading to a further twin room and the annexe shower room. Back within the main house you'll also find a family bathroom and an en-suite double with shower.
The cottage stands in six acres of grounds including landscaped gardens and lawns, a lake and croquet lawn, a paddock for ball games and a covered bothy for outdoor shelter.
