The rural location of Merlins Cottage is perfect for escaping the rat-race, and unwinding in the idyllic Cornish countryside. Boasting fantastic coastal views at every angle, we are just a five minute walk from the historical town of Tintagel.
The interior of Merlins Cottage is furnished to a high standard, with a large traditional kitchen/dining area providing everything you may need during your stay- including a hob and oven, two fridge/ freezers, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer.
The sitting room gives off a great homely feel, and has a TV and DVD player. A second, larger living room has several comfy sofas and a wood- burner.
One of the stand out features of the house is the sun- trap conservatory which overlooks the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
There are four bedrooms- 4 double bedrooms, two of them with en- suite bedrooms and one with a zip and link bed which can be converted to twin beds on request.
Merlins Cottage is located at the bottom of a private dead end path. There is a large garden, with spectacular views across Port Isaac Bay to Trevose Head. You can find garden furniture and a barbecue in the garden, perfect for unwinding on summer evenings after exploring the nearby South West Coastal Path.

The village of Tintagel is well- known for the legendary Knights of the Round Table, and offers several popular pubs, shops and restaurants. The cottage itself is located on the South West Coastal Path- a famous walking route stretching 630 miles along the south west English coast. Ideal for families, a mere 15 minute walk from the front door is Trebarwith Strand, a beach popular with surfers and dog walkers. A further 20 minute drive away are the sailing amenities of Polzeath and Rock.
