About this Holiday Cottage

Nestling on the edge of the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Spa Cottage in Hovingham village is a charming stone house within easy reach of village amenities. The North York Moors, York and the market towns of Malton and Helmsley are only a short drive away.


Ground floor living space includes an open plan kitchen diner with feature oil AGA cooker and an electric oven and hob. All essential self-catering appliances in the kitchen include a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, a microwave, washing machine and a tumble dryer. A utility room with separate wc is also on the ground floor along with the sitting room featuring a cosy open fire, WiFi, comfortable seating, a radio, CD and DVD player.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

First floor bedrooms include a double with en-suite bathroom containing a bath with shower over and wc. Additional bedrooms include two twins and a separate bathroom on the first floor has a bath with shower over and wc. 


The garden is fully enclosed and parking is onsite.

Internet access is available - guests should note that the internet is for leisure use only, not for business.  Speed and quality of service is dependent on what the owner of the property provides.

A cot and highchair are available.

Oil central heating is included.


Short breaks (minimum 2 nights) are available off peak.

The estate village of Hovingham contains a bakery/ cafe, a superb village shop and hairdressers, fine inns serving food, a tennis court, bowling green and a playground. A choice of pretty walks branch out from the village.

The city of York is just 17 miles away. Other attractions and popular locations within easy reach include Castle Howard, Rievaulx Abbey in the North York Moors and the market towns of Helmsley and Malton, both brimming with independent shops, gastro inns and restaurants.
