Long Barn is situated within the grounds of the Grade II listed Elizabethan manor house Felmingham Hall, and is the ideal base for an extended family or group holiday. Felmingham Hall dates back to 1569 and was once the home of William Talman, the Master of the Works to the court of James I.
The interior of Long Barn combines the existing period features of the original barn with modern furnishings, and includes entertainment systems such as Freeview TV, a DVD player, CD player and a phone. A wood- burning stove can be found in the 30' high vaulted dining room, as well as double doors to the terrace and rear garden.
The modern kitchen is fully- equipped with wide range of appliances, such as a cooker with electric hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/ dryer. A high chair and travel cot are available for babies.
There are 5 impressive en- suite bedrooms at Long Barn: two twin bedrooms with 3' beds, two double rooms with 4'6 beds and a double room with a 5' bed.
The barn boasts its own south- facing walled garden, with a private courtyard and covered loggia with an outdoor dining table which overlooks the garden. There is additional garden furniture and a barbecue.
Strictly no smoking. No pets allowed. Free WiFi for recreational use only, however the speed and service may depend on the broadband package obtained by the owner. Private water supply. Covered parking for 5 cars at the front of the property. Guests have use of a shared games room.
The stunning Norfolk coastline is just 20 minutes by car from the barn, and and the popular 'Weaver's way' network of country walks are just a short 10 minute walk.
Also a short drive away are the Georgian towns of Holt and Burnham Market, and the resort towns of Cromer, Sheringham and Wells, where guests can enjoy the sandy beaches, restaurants and theatres.
