During the mid- Victorian period, Clock Cottage was once owned by the local clock maker Mr Higgings. Now, however, this traditional brick and flint property on the end of a row of terraces, provides comfortable accommodation for holidaymakers looking to explore the charming Norfolk countryside.
The interior of Clock Cottage consists of a spacious kitchen and dining area, with 2 steps up to a living room. There is also a utility room with a toilet and wash basin.
The kitchen is fully- equipped with many appliances, including an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. In the living room there is a wood- burning stove, as well as entertainment systems such as a TV, DVD player and CD player. In the garden room there is an additional TV, radio, ipod docking station and doors leading outside into the garden.
Clock Cottage has 3 bedrooms: there is a double bedroom with a 5' bed, another double bedroom with 4'6" bed, and finally a small twin bedroom with two 3' beds. The bathroom has a shower room with wc.
To the rear of the cottage, there is a small private patio area with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

A short 10 minute drive away is Fakenham, a market town with an excellent variety of pubs, restaurants and shops. There is a popular market every Thursday, and regular auctions. Also nearby is Wells, where you can find beautiful sandy beaches. For the more adventurous of guests, at Holkham Hall you can find Norfolk Adventure, who offer activities such as kayaking, water zorbing, rowing, canoeing and boat tours.
