This unique semi- detached property is the perfect location for a relaxing break to the Cornwall coast. Built in 1847, the Trevose Head Lighthouse consists of four semi- detached properties, with the lighthouse positioned in the middle. There are unrivalled sea views from the windows of the house, and outside in the shared communal area.
The interior of Nimbus Cottage provides everything that you would need you for a peaceful stay, with the accommodation all situated on the ground floor. There is a kitchen, dining room and sitting room furnished with facilities such as a double electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, TV, DVD player and payphone.
There are two bedrooms in Nimbus Cottage- one double bedroom with 5' bed and one twin bedroom with 3' beds. There is also a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a toilet.
There is a large communal area outside the cottage, with picnic bench overlooking the coast. All four cottages are 75' above the sea, beneath a headland.

Please not that due to the nature of the lighthouse, maintenance staff may need to visit the cottage at any time to maintain the lighthouse and it's equipment. Also, due to cutting restrictions during bird breeding season, there way be some overhanging vegetation, and the access roads to the lighthouse may be narrow.
On- site secure parking is available on the tarmac forecourt outside the cottage.
Available for short breaks (minimum 2 nights) off peak.
The lighthouse cottage is within easy reach of a sheltered family beach with a lifeguard on duty during the summer, and rock pools. A further 30 minute drive away is The Eden Project, the worlds largest indoor rainforest.
The traditional fishing town of Padstow is a mere 4 miles away, and it's harbour is home to the famous seafood restaurant of celebrity Chef Rick Stein, as well as a variety of Bistros and cafes. Also nearby is the South West Coast Path, popular with walkers.
