22 Hungate is a stone-built ground floor apartment in Pickering. It's located 250 metres from the North York Moors Railway and close to shops, restaurants, tea rooms, pubs, a library and the Kirk Theatre. There's easy access to the North York Moors so walkers and all those looking for adventure will be well catered for. The property sleeps four so it's ideal for a family or two couples.
The contemporary lounge includes a sofa and two armchairs, an LCD TV, DVD player and hi-fi. There's also a dining area for sit down meals and a fully equipped kitchen with dual fuel cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer, toaster and dishwasher. All your essential cutlery, crockery and utensils are provided for you.
Bedroom 1 features a king size bed that can be split into two singles if required, while bedroom 2 has a double bed. Both rooms include en-suite bathrooms. There's also a separate cloakroom with a WC and hand basin.
Although the apartment doesn't have an outdoor space of its own, it's close to nearby public areas with seating.
On-street parking available nearby and there's a parking space behind the Antique Centre which is only 200 yards away.

The arrival time is 3pm and the usual check-out time is 10am on the day of departure.
From the south take the A1 or M1 north until you reach the A64. If you are using the M1 then after the M62 junction you will pick up the new M1 link road that connects to the A1 just before the A64 junction.
From the west get off the M62 at the M1 intersection and head towards Leeds. Immediately pick up the new A1 link road that will take you to the A64.
Follow the signs to York taking the slip road off the A1 to the A64 (York).
Continue on the A64 York ring road toward Scarborough. It’s about 40-minutes drive from the A1 to the Pickering turn off. (traffic permitting). Turn off the A64 at the A169 junction signposted Pickering and follow the road for about 6 miles.
In Pickering, continue on until you reach the roundabout and go left towards Helmsley/Thirsk. The cottage is only approx. 200 metres on your left hand side along that road (opposite Flintofts Ironmongers). Carry on to the traffic lights and turn left and then turn right into the car park at the rear of the Pickering Antique Centre. Do not park in the long stay parking, as you will have to pay. Walk back along Hungate to the apartment, 22 Hungate.
From the north or north west there are a variety of routes but the main one is probably through Thirsk, up Sutton Bank (which is very steep) and on through Helmsley (A170). It is not the fastest route in the world but it is very pretty with plenty of interesting places to break the journey. This brings you into the east of Pickering. Carry on to the traffic lights and turn right and right again into the Pickering Antiques Centre car park. Walk back to the main road, turn right and walk over the bridge (Pickering beck) and approx. 50 metres you will see Flintofts Ironmongers. The apartment, 22 Hungate is just on the opposite side of the road.
From Scarborough following signs for Pickering, through Thornton-le-dale (good ice cream shop on the right hand side) and continue on towards Pickering. As you come into Pickering you will pass the Industrial estate on the left keep straight on until the roundabout and go straight over towards Helmsley/Thirsk.
