Upon arrival, you can either head straight for your room or relax in our communal lounge, where you’ll find a small collection of books and magazines, as well as information on best restaurants in the Windermere area.
Whether you’re visiting for a special occasion such as an anniversary or just to tour the area we can guarantee that you’ll enjoy your time spent with us. If there is a romantic reason for visiting we can arrange for a welcome basket to be left in your chosen room, with champagne, chocolate or flowers included. We can make restaurant reservations for you as well.
A minimum 2 night stay applies at weekends. Discounts are available for 3 night bookings or more.
Children over the age of 12 years are welcome and reducted rates are available for children aged from 12 to 14 years.
Once you’re all ready for your day you can take the 10 minute walk to Lake Windermere, ideal for fishing, walking, biking, boating and much more. Windermere's bus and rail links are also only around a 10 minute walk away.
The World of Beatrix Potter is just down the road from us, and Miss Potter’s former home, Hill Top, is also within easy reach, situated in the Hawkshead area at Near Sawrey. You can reach this little village via the regular Windermere ferry service across the lake.
