From the doorstep: The Derwent Walk is a 20 mile trail that's open to cyclists and walkers which passes through the farm. Red Kite Trail and birdwatching opportunities. Fishing, cycling and walking is also available. Gibside, which is a National Trust property, is situated just opposite the farm.
Within easy reach: Newcastle attractions (20 minute drive), The Durham Dales and attractions including the Bowes Museum, Beamish Open Air Museum, the Tanfield Railway and family run Hall Hill Farm. Hadrian's Wall, Tynemouth and Whitley Bay and the Northumberland Heritage Coast are also close by.
