Sleeping up to eleven people, Eden is a beautifully converted 17th century barn set within the extensive grounds of a peaceful country estate near Skipton. Extended families and groups are welcome with miles of walks to enjoy nearby and a fabulous choice of historical attractions to explore.
The living accommodation at Eden comprises of an impressive entrance hallway, spacious kitchen with double height ceiling and feature arched windows, a decedent dining room and contemporary styled lounge area with large feature fireplace. The interior is presented in a blend of retro design and contemporary minimalism except in the dining room which reflects the 16th Century origins of Broughton Hall.
The bedrooms include two doubles set on the ground floor which share use of a family bathroom. Three further doubles and one large single are set on the first floor and these share use of two additional Jack and Jill bathrooms. Extra travel cot and beds for children can be provided.
To the exterior is a large private garden and 3000 acres of accessible countryside. A hand painted map is provided which details all the best routes and trails around the estate. There is also a spacious area with wood fired hot tub, fire pit and seating.
Short breaks of three nights or more are welcome throughout the year except over the Christmas/ New Year time. The cottage is pet friendly by prior arrangement.
The Broughton Hall country estate is set a short drive from Skipton and within easy reach of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. There is an estate pub a ten minute walk away and outdoor activities such as cycling and fly fishing can be enjoyed.
