The spacious open plan living has a beautiful double height ceiling with exposed roof beams and trusses, a leather sofa, wall mounted TV with satellite service, a DVD player and easy chair with foot stool. There is a contemporary dining suite with four leather chairs and the kitchen has a built in appliances, a heated stone floor, plenty of storage and thoughtful features including children's crockery and cutlery if needed. We also supply a welcome hamper with items including fresh bread, eggs and bacon.
The cottage has two ensuite double bedrooms with king size beds, highest quality bed linen, cosy faux fur throws and LCD TVs. One has an ensuite with bath tub and the second has a walk in shower cubicle.
The cottage has an enclosed south facing garden with lawn area and gravel patio. The views are spectacular and garden furniture is provided for the summer months. There is also off road parking available for the cottage.
Short breaks of three nights or more are welcome except in July, August and over the Christmas/ New Year period. Children are welcome and the cottage is pet friendly by arrangement.
The nearest pub is two minutes away and the nearest shop is five miles away. The cottage is ideal for exploring the heather-clad North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the local hamlet of West Steading is famous for its daffodil walks along the river bank in spring. Nearby attractions/ towns include Goathland, Rosedale Abbey, Danby, Hutton le Hole, Helmsley and Pickering.
