Situated two miles from the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Hawes, The Sheepfold Cottage is set on a small farm and provides an idyllic base for peaceful holidays and short breaks.
The spacious lounge has an original fireplace with electric stove, a large arched window overlooking the Dales, feature stonework and entrance hallway has an additional downstairs cloakroom. There is a dining area which can seat six and the fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, oven, hob and microwave. Entertainment facilities include Freesat TV, a DVD player and a radio/ CD player. A staircase with pine balustrades leads up to the first floor.
The cottage has a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a twin bedroom, single bedroom plus a bathroom with WC and hand basin. The upstairs rooms have vaulted ceilings to exposed the rafters, purlins and to add more space and character.
There is an attractive courtyard seating area to the front and the cottage also has off road parking and secure bike storage.
Free range eggs are available to purchase at the farm. The rental charge includes linen, towels, duvets, pillows, oil central heating and electricity.
Short breaks of three nights or more may be available during off peak times. Please note that the property does not accept pets or children under twelve years old.
Local amenities including a pub, shop and bus route are located 1.5 miles away. The cottage is set just to the west of Hawes, close to the River Ure on the lower reaches of Great Shunner Fell.
