A beautifully presented retreat for two, School Cottage in Newbiggin is a charming 19th century property forming part of a terrace of four close to the amenities of the village centre.
The cottage has a comfortable lounge with wood burner stove and winding stair case leading to the first floor. There is also a TV with Freesat service, a DVD player, CD player, mp3 dock and dining area which can seat two. The well equipped kitchen has a fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/ dryer, oven and hob.
To the first floor, there is one large double bedroom and the ensuite bathroom has a freestanding roll top bath, large shower cubicle, a wash hand basin & WC. The bedroom has two large windows and a high ceiling which give the room a lovely spacious feel and distant views to the far fells.
The cottage has an attractive courtyard garden with seating area plus off road parking for one small car. There is also a layby a few yards away for further parking.
The rental prices includes linen, towels, duvets, pillows, electricity, one basket of logs for the fire and charges for the thermostatically controlled electric radiators. A local pub can be found 400 yards away and the cottage is 1+ miles from Thoralby and West Burton.
Short breaks of three nights or more may be available during the winter low season times. Please note we do not accept pets.
The cottage is set in lower Bishopdale, close to West Burton and the famous Aysgarth Falls. The town is home to some of the Dales' finest 17th century dwellings and is well placed for exploring the northern Yorkshire Dales National Park.
