If you're looking for a luxury self-catering property on the beach front, Miodar Mor Cottage in the village of Kildonan is the perfect destination. Located on the southern coast of the Isle of Arran, the cottage offers uninterrupted sea views to the Scottish mainland and the islands of Pladda and Ailsa Craig. On a clear day you can even see the east coast of Ireland.
The cottage is close to the beach, bus stop and local amenities.
Miodar Mor has a large porch entrance, with a washing machine and tumble dryer, that leads to the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The cottage comes fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, and a dishwasher.
Also included is a Sky TV, radio, DVD player with a library of films, CD player, and a selection of games and books for all ages.
The cottage sleeps eight people in two ensuite double bedrooms, both of which have sea views, a twin bedroom and a room with large bunk beds.
There's also a family bathroom with a bath, WC and wash basin.
The living area leads to a balcony which provides uninterrupted sea views.
As the cottage is contained on one floor, wheelchair access is available.
Private off-road parking and secure bike storage is provided.
Free Wi-Fi access, linen and towels are provided. Pets are welcome by arrangement, £20 per pet. Double glazed and centrally heated throughout.
Changeover day for seven night breaks is Saturday and the price is inclusive of electricity and heating.
Short breaks available November to March.
If you're arriving at Arran by ferry, from the terminal turn left at the Tourist Information Centre and head south travelling through the villages of Lamlash and Whiting Bay. About 2 miles after Whiting Bay turn left, signposted Kildonan Hotel, and continue down to the shore road. Miodar Mor Cottage is about 350 metre past the Kildonan Hotel entrance.
