Situated adjacent to an 18th century farmstead, The Priory Mill Farm Granary is located opposite the undeveloped water powered corn-mill on the River Honddu. Once part of the Marquis of Camden's Estate, the Grade II listed water mill is undergoing a gradual redevelopment and the Granary provides superb accommodation for romantic breaks.
The cosy lounge has exposed beams, a gas fired stove, sofa, two armchairs, traditional Welsh dresser, a TV, DVD player and iPod dock. There is also a dining table with chairs plus self catering facilities in the solid oak kitchen including an electric double oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. A freezer is located in the scullery.
The property has a dedicated garden with BBQ and outdoor furniture plus a lockable stone outbuilding for storing bikes. Ample parking is also provided.
The rental charge includes bed linen, towels, electricity and central heating. Mobile reception is good and Wi-Fi service is available.
Fishing for wild trout and salmon can be enjoyed on the nearby River Honddu which runs just beyond the watermill.
Short breaks may be available at certain times of the year. One pet welcome at £20 per stay.
