About this Property

Cynfin Old House is part of a wonderful barn conversion with the most remarkable panoramic views from all the windows across The Usk Valley to the Brecon Beacons beyond. Walks straight up to The Beacons Way.

Sleeps 4 - 2 bedrooms:

This lovely renovated seventeenth century stone barn nestles beside Cynfin Barn and Stable on the slopes of The Black Mountains above Tretower and its fascinating fully restored medieval Manorhouse and tower - the remains of the Norman motte and bailey. The workmanship in this newly renovated cottage is superb with locally grown oak used for the doors, windows, floors and stairs giving it a warm and welcoming feel.

The kitchen with its' heavy oak latched door, is well fitted with an electric cooker, halogen hob, microwave, dishwasher, tall fridge and freezer. Kitchen table and views to "die for" down the valley.
A downstairs cloakroom with whb and wc.

The sitting room is full of character with the oak beams, leather sofa and chairs and a reclining chair. A wood burning stove with a good supply of logs and Flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD.

Upstairs to:

Master Bedroom 1: A king sized bed and an en-suite shower room
