The amenities of the village centre are just a three minute walk away and our cottage is ideal for visiting nearby Skipton, the Gateway to the Dales, which was voted 'Best Place To Live' in Britain in 2014.
The living accommodation at The Snug is open plan and includes a modern kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/ freezer. Enjoy relaxing in front of the wood burner stove in the lounge area which also has a TV with Freeview service, DVD player and CD/ radio. The property also retains a wealth of period features including exposed stonework, original ceiling beams and charming fireplace.
The first floor double bedroom is accessed via a beautiful staircase and has a lovely ensuite shower room with hand basin and WC. There is a further single bedroom set on a mezzanine level is approached via a second staircase and this room overlooks the main bedroom.
Roadside parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
Bed linen and towels are provided and we can also supply a cot and high chair on request. One well behaved pet is accepted by prior arrangement. The rental charge also includes fuel, power, a starter pack for the wood burner stove plus a range of games, DVDs and books.
The cottage is situated just ten miles from both Skipton and Hebden Bridge. Enjoy exploring beautiful Bronte Country and take a trip on the famous steam trains along the Worth Valley Railway. The cottage is ideal for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and other nearby attractions include the National Railway Museum in York, the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall and the spa town of Harrogate. Local amenities and a pub can be found a three minute walk away.
