Tastefully decorated throughout with period features including beamed ceilings and an open fire, the cottage provides a perfect home from home with two bedrooms for up to four people.
Jesmond Cottage is well equipped for self catering with a fully fitted kitchen, street parking directly outside and a private patio with bistro furnishings. Walkers and cyclists are very welcome to enjoy the abundance of trails and routes leading from the village to the surrounding countryside.
Retaining many of its original features with a blend of contemporary refurbishments and furnishings, the cottage offer cosy living accommodation and enters from the front door into the lounge.
The lounge itself has comfortable arm chairs and sofas set around the open fireplace and enjoys original features including stove alcoves and a beamed ceiling. There is a TV with DVD and CD player for entertainment.
The kitchen diner is spacious and well equipped with a microwave, oven, washer/dryer, fridge freezer and a family dining table with seating for four.
The pine staircase in the lounge leads to two bedrooms on the first floor comprising a double room with additional single bed and a separate single bedroom. Both rooms have full bedroom furnishings and share access to a family bathroom with shower over bath.
A stone flagged patio complete with bistro furnishings is set at the front of the house and can be accessed from the kitchen diner and via a small gate on the lane to the side of the cottage.
Bed linen and towels are provided for your arrival and all bills are included in the rental prices of the property. Fuel for the fire is also provided.
We cannot accept pets and the cottage is strictly non-smoking.
West Burton is a delightful Yorkshire village with a range of pubs and shops nearby for your convenience. The cottage is located between Walden Dale, Bishopsdale and Wensleydale and enjoys a picturesque setting amongst feels and rolling countryside.
For those looking to venture further, the North York Moors and an array of Yorkshire market towns and villages are only a short drive from the cottage.
