The cottage is conveniently located for easy access to the North York Moors and has a range of traditional period features including an open fireplace and beamed ceilings throughout.
Full of home comforts and a range of mod cons, Barton Cottage is a perfectly equipped self catering property with the additional of street parking outside the cottage and its own enclosed back garden with BBQ.
The front entrance of the cottage opens into a small porch – ideal for storing coats and muddy boots.
The porch leads straight through to the beamed lounge with a large open fireplace. This cosy room has traditional flagstone flooring and a large bay window overlooking the village green. In this room there is a FreeSat TV with DVD player, a radio and a wide selection of books.
The kitchen is compact yet very well equipped for a self catering holiday including a microwave, oven, hobs and fridge with freezer compartment. There is an adjoined dining room equipped with dining table and four chairs.
Perfect for two, Barton Cottage boasts a spacious and bright double bedroom on the first floor with plenty of room for a cot. There is a bathroom with bath and shower over.
The cottage boasts outdoor space for guests to both the front and back of the property. There is a small patio at the front of the cottage with a bench where guests can enjoy views over the village green.
A small enclosed garden at the back has outdoor furnishings including a table, chairs and BBQ – perfect for al fresco dining.
All bed linen and towels are provided for your arrival and bills are included in the rental price of the property. A cot and highchair are available for younger guests. A hairdryer is provided in the bedroom.

West Burton is a charming and friendly village nestled between Walden Dale, Bishopsdale and Wensleydale. The village is surrounded by high fell sides from which you can enjoy unrestricted panoramic views of the Vale of York and North York Moors in the distance.
The cottage is perfectly located for walkers, climbers and cyclists but offers a tranquil escape for those who just want to get away and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Yorkshire countryside.
There are a number of pubs and shops within walking distance of the cottage and there is a bus route nearby giving access to the wide Yorkshire countryside and its beautiful little market towns and villages.
