Enjoying the quiet surroundings of St Teath, The White Cottage is a traditional 19th century property nestled in one of the most picturesque areas of North Cornwall.
Our comfortable en-suite guest room is ideal for keen walkers and cyclists looking to explore both the countryside and coastline. We provide an ideal home from home environment with delicious breakfasts and fantastic guest facilities including free off road parking.
Our elegant double guestroom is beautifully presented with exposed stone walls and is set under beamed ceilings. The room has bespoke traditional style furnishings including a dressing table a chest of drawers for clothes storage.
The en-suite shower room is set under sloped ceilings with a large shower unit, wash basin and toilet. The room also has a wall mounted flat screen TV and well stocked hospitality tray.
Sit down to a delicious home cooked breakfast each morning in our bright and spacious breakfast room. We can also serve morning tea and coffee to your room before breakfast.
Full English breakfasts are available and we can also cater for smaller appetites with lighter portions. Eggs are from our very own free range hens and we aim to source breakfast ingredients locally whenever possible. We can cater for special dietary requirements with prior notification.
Guests are very welcome to make themselves at home in our guest lounge with flat screen TV and open fire for the winter months. The room has comfortable leather sofas to relax into after a long day exploring Cornwall.
Our beautifully kept gardens boast views over the Bodmin Moors and provide a fantastic natural space to relax in during the summer time.
The North Cornwall coast boasts sandy beaches and secluded coves. The guesthouse is only two mile from the coast where you can pick up the famous South West coastal path and enjoy the dramatic coastal scenery from the cliff tops.
Closer inland lays the rugged Bodmin Moors, an ideal destination for keen cyclists and walkers with the 5 miles Camel trail located nearby.
The village of St Teath itself has an incredibly friendly community and a pub. Please ask us for information on local attractions and eateries – we are more than happy to help.
