About this Holiday Cottage

Experience a luxurious stay in Glynrhedyn, a detached slate and stone period property that's been carefully restored over the years - in fact many of its original Victorian features have been retained. The cottage is only one and a half miles from Bala while the lake, white water rafting centre and Coed y Brenin forest are easily accessible. It's perfect for families and groups, and with plenty of activities in the local area, you won't be stuck for something to do.

Glynrhedyn has a spacious entrance hall that leads to an intimate period living room. In here is an open fire, a wealth of bookcases, a sofa and Freeview with TV. The large dining room has a table for eight and integrated kitchen that comes fully equipped and ready to satisfy your culinary needs. Throughout the property are many windows with window seats, letting you take fully advantage of the stunning panoramic views. Just off the hallway is a utility room with a fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and integrated cloakroom with WC.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The cottage sleeps eight and features a master bedroom with king-size bed and a double, twin and single bedroom. An extra bed is available for an additional guest. For the younger ones, a travel cot, safety gate and highchair can be provided. The bathroom as a walk-in tiled shower, cast bathtub, WC and wash basin.

Parking for up to four cars is provided and there's security floodlighting covering the gardens and driveway.

The cottage is set in approximately five acres of woodland and has a river, two natural waterfalls and a dipping pool. Children will love exploring the many pathways and hidden places, there's even a small tree house and wooden bridge to cross.

Special to Glynrhedyn

Make your holiday that extra bit special with one (or many) lovely pampering services available to you. Breakfast and barbeque hampers, babysitting, guided local walks, fly fishing coaching and helicopter flights are just a few of the things on offer.

Around and About

Not only is there a wide range of outdoor activities to experience in the area but many places to visit too. Chester, Betws y Coed, Llangollen, Portmeirion and Snowdown are all less than an hour away.
