Forest How Guest House sits in the heart of Eskdale in the Western Lakes. The house is Victorian and has been tastefully modernised to offer comfortable accommodation perfect for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. Paths from the B&B's door lead directly to Scafell and Great Gable, and hearty full cooked breakfasts are included in your stay. We have extensive gardens and an orchard for guests to explore - look out for deer, red squirrels and barn owls all of which have been spotted by previous guests.
We have 7 double and twin bedrooms, 4 have en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. All rooms include a colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, central heating, a wash basin and fabulous rural views.
A varied breakfast menu includes a hearty Full English cooked breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients where possible. Ligher options including fruit, cereals, eggs and toast are all available. Enjoy breakfast in the stone-flagged conservatory with views of the garden or in our cosy dining room.
A minimum 3 night stay applies during Bank Holidays and a minimum stay of 2 nights applies during high season weekends. We may be flexible dependent on availability - please call us direct for last minute short stays.
Arrival is from 4pm to 8pm unless otherwise arranged with ourselves.
Check-out is by 10.30am on departure day.

Eskdale Green village sits in the Western Lakes in the beautiful Eskdale Valley. The area offers a variety of spectacular walking opportunities including riverside walks and some of Lakeland's best climbs.
