Welcome to Hazel Cottage, one of two beautifully appointed wheelchair friendly cottages here at Vose Farm. South facing with picture windows throughout, the cottage is ideal for families of up to six looking for a countryside and coastal holiday. Hazel Cottage boasts a fantastic position overlooking the surrounding countryside and Roseland Peninsula beyond. Guests can enjoy ample parking and boat/trailer storage onsite at no additional cost. Stone built and well suited to its surroundings, this contemporary accommodation is only a few miles from St Austell’s sandy beaches and pretty coastal villages.
The cottage is set on a single level and boasts contemporary and open plan living space with plenty of room for the whole family. The lounge diner area features comfortable sofas, Freeview TV and a large family dining table with patio doors opening out to the enclosed garden with BBQ area. There is free Wi-Fi access throughout the cottage. Adjoining to the lounge, the kitchen is bright and spacious with modern self catering utilities including an oven, hob, fridge freezer, washer dryer, dish washer and microwave. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite wet room with full disabled facilities including a large shower, grab rails and lowered wash basin. This room also has access to the garden via patio doors and a ramp. There are a further two twin rooms in the property – both of which have full bedroom furnishings and share a family bathroom with power shower over bath.
We allow one well behaved dog in this property with prior arrangement. We provide all bed linen and towels for your arrival but please note that this does not include beach towels. The cottage is full heated throughout with central heating and state of the art under floor heating. Baby equipment is available on request – the master bedroom has ample space for a cot.
Enjoy our range of onsite facilities with the whole family in mind. Vose Farm is set within 7 acres of its own landscaped gardens and features a fenced wildlife pond. We are particularly mindful of children and have an indoor and outdoor play area with a variety of toys and games. Both play areas are perfectly secure so your little ones can play safely. We also have a donkey petting area where you can meet our friendly farm animals and guests are welcome to help us collect eggs from our hens each day (and take some back to your cottage for breakfast). We offer a wealth of advice on the local area and attractions so if you are at a loss of where to go, visit our onsite tourist information office – here you can also hire DVDs to watch in your cottage with all proceedings going to the RNLI.
