Slapton is a deservedly popular South Hams village with pretty thatched cottages, two good pubs, a village shop and all just half a mile from the outstandingly beautiful three mile stretch of shingle beach at Slapton Sands and the equally lovely freshwater Ley, now a National Nature Reserve, a haven for birdwatchers and walkers alike. Wren's Nest is tucked in the heart of the village down a quiet private narrow lane that leads to just 3 cottages. The property is a conversion from a fine old barn, and is attached to a similar barn on one side. It is immaculate, delightfully furnished and decorated and provides very good, comfortable accommodation in a quiet position in this charming village.
