Snapes View is a well appointed, very comfortable town house with stunning views from the balcony, sitting room and dining room to Snapes Point, Batson and South Pool creeks and provides roomy accommodation in the middle of Salcombe town. The property enjoys several garden terraces with outstanding views, a suntrap courtyard and the real bonus of plenty of parking. Bright and airy this is an ideal holiday home located in one of the most popular resorts of South Devon and only five minutes walk from the local tennis club and bustling delights of Salcombe with its many shops, restaurants, cafes and quick access to the beautiful beaches via the ferry links to East Portlemouth and South Sands. Walking the coastal footpath, sailing in the estuary, or enjoying a leisurely ferry trip, there are always plenty of activities in this delightful unspoilt area in South Devon.


Front door hallway. Attractive sitting room comfortably furnished with 2 large sofas, 2 armchairs, wall mounted TV with DVD, video and sliding patio doors to balcony with superb town and estuary views. Arch through to the dining room with dining table to seat 8, HiFi, large fridge and sliding doors to the balcony. Further arch through to the spacious very well equipped kitchen with fitted pine units, dresser, gas hob and built under electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. Off the hallway is a shower room with electric shower, basin and WC. Stairs down to the lower hall with access to the courtyard. Master double bedroom suite with 4'6” bed, fitted wardrobe, fine views, access to the upper garden terrace and an en-suite bathroom with bath and power shower over, ladder towel rack, basin and WC. 2nd double bedroom with 5ft bed and an en-suite shower room with corner power shower, basin and WC. 2 twin bedrooms with 3ft beds, one with a hand basin and access to the courtyard.


The balcony on the upper level of the house opens from both the sitting and dining rooms and enjoys splendid town and estuary views. At the front of the house, steps lead down to a large enclosed courtyard area provided with barbecues, table and chairs. A path around the side of the house leads to the garden terraces. The upper terrace is totally enclosed with access to the master bedroom and is provided with table and chairs. Further steps down to two paved terraces (not railed) and a lower gravelled terrace, all of which enjoy the views.

Parking: Off road in front of the property for 4 cars.

  • Included: Bed linen (not towels), travel cot, high chair, stair gate, central heating (gas) and electricity.

  • Pets: One well behaved dog welcome. Pets must be house trained, clean and with up to date flea and tick prevention treatment (owner strongly recommends using 'Advantix' flea and tick treatment).
  • Telephone: No telephone. Mobile reception good. Wi-Fi.
  • Local Facilities: Beaches at North and South Sands 1 mile. Spar shop & PO 350 yards. Shops, pubs, restaurants and quayside 5-7 minutes walk down (longer coming back).
