Rest Harrow has stunning balcony views, very comfortable holiday accommodation, a superb split level garden area and provides roomy attractive accommodation in the middle of Salcombe town. A five minute walk down the hill brings you to the water's edge of this beautiful holiday destination, a treat for all ages where you can learn to sail, hire a dinghy to explore the many creeks and beaches around the estuary, scuba dive, canoe or kayak, enjoy power boating, surfing, fishing and horse riding, to name but a few. For a more leisurely holiday, take a scenic boat trip, walk the coastal paths or enjoy lazing on one of the many beautiful beaches. For shopaholics Salcombe is great, with a selection of varied, unique and high quality shops, cafes and restaurants to keep any discerning shopper happy for hours, returning to Rest Harrow to enjoy the comfort of this delightful home with its fine views across the estuary.

Smart, attractive sitting room furnished with large modern sofas, wall mounted 36” TV and sliding patio doors to balcony with superb town and estuary views. Arch through to the dining room, dining table to seat 8 and sliding doors to the balcony. Very well equipped kitchen with gas hob and built under oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. Off the hallway is a shower room with electric shower, basin and WC. Stairs down to the lower hall with access to the rear courtyard. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed, fitted wardrobe, fine views and an en-suite shower room with electric shower, ladder towel rack, basin and WC. Three twin bedrooms, all with 3ft beds and one with an en-suite shower room with electric shower, basin and WC. Family bathroom with bath, hand shower, basin, WC and bidet.


The decked balcony on the upper level of the house opens from both the sitting and dining rooms and enjoys splendid town and estuary views. At the rear of the house, steps lead down to a large courtyard area provided with barbecue and a path around the side leads to a superb split level paved terrace, the upper one provided with table, chairs and glass balustrade and the lower with a gravelled area. A superb spot to enjoy al fresco meals.

Parking: Space for 2 cars off road in front of the garage, plus on road for a further car.

  • Local facilities: Beaches at North and South Sands 1 mile. Smalls Cove, Mill Bay, Sunny Cove across the estuary by foot ferry on the East Portlemouth side. Spar shop & PO 350 yards. Shops, pubs, restaurants and quayside 5-7 minutes' walk down (longer coming back).
