Honeysuckle Barn on the South Devon Coast is a delightfully bright and sunny former stable block barn conversion on the southernmost outskirts of Noss Mayo and its twin village of Newton Ferrers, close to the sea and the South West Coastal Path. Recently refurbished, the barns encircle quiet courtyards set within landscaped gardens, complete with a games room, picnic areas with barbecue and tennis court. The two pretty villages, both linked by a ferry or a causeway at low tide have shops, waterside pubs and restaurants and this lovely coastal area provides many spectacular cliff walks, with interesting paths leading down to secret smugglers' coves. For the more adventurous, the nearby historic city of Plymouth provides a host of cultural and entertaining facilities and the routes to the Dartmoor National Park and Celtic Cornwall are easily accessible.
