Our 11 guest rooms feature spectacular lake or rural views and are the perfect mix of vintage Victorian charm and modern facilities. Choose from four poster and vintage doubles, twins (with a double and single bed) and cosy single rooms, each with either an en-suite shower or private bathroom – one room has a private bathroom with deep slipper bath.
WiFi is available, and all rooms include LCD flat screen digital TV, a refreshment tray with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and a local guide pack. Fine toiletries and Dorma bed linen, fluffy soft towels and luxuriously comfortable duvets also feature in rooms.
A delicious locally sourced breakfast is included in booking - we serve exceptional sausages and bacon from a local butcher, fresh dairy produce, muffins/croissants, and a range of vegetarian options.
Blenheim Lodge is ideally placed adjacent to the Dales Way, just a few minutes’ walk from Bowness centre and the Bay for boat trips on Lake Windermere.
Travelling from the North: Leave the M6 motorway at the Kendal junction (j 36) and follow the signs to Windermere. Go through Windermere. Follow signs for The Lake, Bowness on Windermere or The Pier. In Bowness, turn first left at the mini roundabout. Turn first left again onto Kendal Road. Then left again onto Brantfell Road. Turn right at the top of Brantfell Road. Blenheim Lodge is on the left hand side. Travelling from the South: Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and take the A591 (South Lakes) to Windermere. In Windermere turn left to Bowness (about 1.5 miles). In Bowness, turn first left at the mini roundabout. Turn first left onto Kendal Road, and left again onto Brantfell Road. Turn right at the top of Brantfell Road. Blenheim Lodge is on the left hand side.
