Originally built in 1830, the beautiful Overcott House is surrounded by an idyllic three and a half acres of landscaped garden and grounds. What’s more, it lies at the bottom a secluded bridleway on the outskirts of a small village. It’s safe to say that peace and quiet is guaranteed. This isn't like other B&Bs, instead of lots of rooms there’s just the one suite exclusively for a lucky couple on a romantic break. Spend your time relaxing inside, out in the garden with a private picnic or venture further afield and explore North Devon’s attractions and beaches.
Overcott’s stylish suite has a comfortable king size bed and south-facing views over the garden. Its en-suite bathroom comes complete with a double shower, complimentary toiletries and bathrobes. Stepping down from the bedroom area you’ll find a delightful lounge with a snug two-seater sofa, refreshment tray and a flat screen Freesat TV. A complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates await you on arrival. The house’s snug is exclusively yours to use, it’s perfect for a spot of light reading or a game of cards. There’s also the impressive entertainment room which features a 95 inch cinema screen and projector, armchairs, bean bags and surround sound – there’s even popcorn.
Breakfast is naturally included in your stay and a hearty Devon breakfast; free range eggs, West Country bacon, sausages, black pudding, mushrooms and tomatoes will get the day started right. If you prefer fish you can have smoked haddock and kippers or something lighter like cereal.
We offer a minimum of a two night stay although one night stays can be arranged midweek.
