About this Holiday Cottage

Prospect Coach House is a semi-detached, converted coach house in Great Fryup Dale, a scattering of farms and houses, fourteen miles from Whitby in the North York Moors National Park. This cottage sleeps up to five people and has two bedrooms, consisting of one king size double and one twin with pull-out single, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. To the outside of this cottage, there is off road parking for three cars and a patio area by the cottage, with a rockery and lawned garden areas with stream and sitting area behind the cottage. Prospect Coach House is a wonderful holiday home in a stunning area.


Two bedrooms, both built slightly into the eaves: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin with pull-out single under. Bathroom with bath (power shower over), basin and WC. Well-equipped fitted kitchen with dining area. Lovely sitting room with arched picture windows, leather furniture and coal fire. Entrance porch with room for coats, boots etc.

LPG central heating with open fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Satellite, free wireless broadband, DVD, music system with surround sound. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Patio area by house with rockery behind leading up to pretty lawned garden areas with stream at top and sitting area. Off road parking for 3 cars. Private water supply. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub in Lealholm, 2 miles.

Around and About

Located in the North York Moors National Park, Fryup Dale is a largely undiscovered area, ideal as a base from which to begin exploring the surrounding countryside. Whether you plan to make your way around the region on foot, by bike or car, there is something for everyone to see and do in this wonderful landscape. Surrounded by heather-clad moors, this region is popular for walkers who will be spoiled for choice by the many footpaths and trails across the countryside. For train lovers there are a variety of old engines running from nearby Lealholm, through the lovely Esk Valley to Whitby, calling at many pretty villages along the way. Linking with the ever-popular North York Moors Steam Railway at Grosmont, the Esk valley line is well worth taking a trip on.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
